We are searching for a talented IT Security Analyst to be based out of our Enter Property and City. At Forest City, we are thoughtful in social responsibility and pride ourselves in fostering an inclusive and dynamic workplace that provides opportunities for continuous growth!

 

Responsible for monitoring network security, host-based security, infrastructure security (operating system and database), active directory security, and anti-malware security to ensure data is protected from unauthorized access. Identifies, reports, and resolves IT security violations. Executes security monitoring activities and controls as assigned, in alignment with overall security framework. Adheres to and enforces IT policies/procedures/standards across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day administration required to ensure that security tools are effective at meeting overall security objectives of the company. Proactively monitor systems and conduct regular reviews of security events logs and event summary information to identify potential, unsuccessful, and successful intrusion attempts. Communicate intrusions and compromises to team leaders. Monitor and investigate alerts, determining root cause and appropriate mitigations. Responds to requests timely and efficiently, adhering to established SLA’s.
  • Perform security risk assessments and provide information security consultation. Evaluate security exposures associated with purchases or practices, misuse or non-compliance; assess risk and ensure cost effective implementation of controls to address exposures.
  • Support overall IT SOX 404 program requirements in compliance with information security policies, standards and client security requirements. Accountable for ongoing monitoring, preparation, and first level review of activity associated with assigned IT security and user-access and authentication controls.
  • Conduct risk/vulnerability analysis on projects/new technology, providing remediation steps as appropriate.
  • Document, report, and coordinate remediation of vulnerabilities identified during IT Security assessments, penetration tests, and/or vulnerability scans. Adhere to established incident, problem, and change management policies; as well the security incident response process.

Qualifications

  • This position requires a Bachelor Degree in Business, IT, or equivalent experience
  • 3 – 4 years IT, and IT security experience
  • 1 – 2 years of IDS/IPS, SIEM, Vulnerability Management & Remediation Techniques, Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint security and Protection experience is required
