We are searching for a talented Project Coordinator to be based out of our Brooklyn, New York office.

 

The Atlantic Yards Community Liaison Office was established to provide a direct point of contact between the local community and developer, Forest City Ratner Companies, during the construction of the Atlantic Yards project. The CLO project coordinator is responsible for assisting the External Affairs associate in the daily staffing and operation of the office. 

 

This role is offered as a part-time / temporary opportunity with anticipated flexible work hours of 20-32 hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the daily operations of the Atlantic Yards Community Liaison Office (CLO). Provide an onsite resource for community residents.   
  • Provide daily oversight and reporting on project site conditions to CLO internal team.                          
  • Track and manage CLO inquiries from community, including data base creation and analysis.                       
  • Develop and assist with community outreach plans regarding ongoing Atlantic Yards construction process, such as flyers and blast emails.  
  • Draft comprehensive responses to CLO inquiries and coordinate with CLO manager.                
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations and residents.                        
  • Attend internal CLO meetings and maintain minutes of such meetings. Attend and/or staff community meetings and special events, including nights and weekends.                   
  • Research and participation in special projects.                          

Qualifications

  • This position requires a High School Diploma/GED.  Students currently enrolled in post secondary college courses with a MARKETING major are encouraged to apply.
  • 1-2 years of required experience in being progressively responsible in customer service orientation and computer skills.
  • Required skills for this positon include: Microsoft Office, Photoshop and graphic design, and verbal and written communications. 
  • This position requires up to 10% travel.
